The writing process requires a triangle effect where an author writes a work, typically something like an essay. Once the essay has been written, it is given to the specific audience which the author has intentionally looked for. These readers then go over the essay and give their feedback to the author, and the author will revise his or her essay based on the feedback that they receive. A lot of times the author will bring in someone who has no biased towards what they have to say, to point out what they got from the paper. This is called an outsider and they just help to show what the common person will get out of the work. This can all happen a couple of times, because the author will need to review and revise their work a couple of times before it is finally ready to be read by everyone.

In writing an essay there has to be a certain way to do so. It is important for the author to make sure that the audience can understand what is going on within the article, to make sure that they retain and understand the information. The author writes a work, which usually has to do with something that is relevant to the general public. After the author has written an essay, it will be read by a specific audience. Once the essay has been read it may be sent back to be revised several times, so that it an be as close to competent as possible. The author will usually write the essay in several parts starting with the body. Once the body has been written it is onto the conclusion, or the last part of the essay, which ties everything together. Lastly, an introduction is created in order to state the authors claim and give a brief overview of what is to be talked about.

It is important to make sure that you pick an audience that is educated in the subject that you are talking about. If you don't teach the audience or they don't already know what the author is saying, interest will be lost when the paper is being read. Also, explaining things in full detail and giving examples helps the audience almost "put a face to a name," or make sure they understand something clearly. Definitions are helpful in the fact that you may know a word, but many people may not, so just throw the definition in their so the reader won't become lost or confused. It is just important to be clear and concise with your reader, give them detail, definitions, and examples but don't go so in depth that it confuses them. Typically the bare minimum will allow the reader to understand a concept, as well as making them want to go more in depth to the paper looking for further evidence that the author may talk about.

An introduction can be one of the most important parts of an essay for an author to use. An introduction states what the author is trying to tell the reader. In an introduction, the reader will find what they need to be looking for during the reading that they will be doing. The introduction needs to have a thesis, which clearly states what the authors point is, and how they feel about the topic they are presenting. In the introduction it can also talk about the rhetorical tools which will be used, in order for the reader to understand the main topics being presented. The author may also justify their arguments and why they are important in this introduction. If used properly, the introduction can make or break an article because it can grab a readers attention or lose it completely.

Classification and Division are tools that allow us to break up ideas and put them into their own sections in order to make more sense of a topic. Classification gives something a name or almost puts it in a category of purpose. Division breaks up the idea and puts it into a category of it's own nature. So classification and division really just take things from the article and put them in sub categories to lay things out in order to ensure the reader knows what they are actually doing. It almost gives the paper a scaffolding or ladder because you have the main part and it just expands with definitions out from that certain definition.

"The viability of football at the high school level remains unquestioned in most communities in the United States." This means that we don't really know how football is going to be used in high schools, because everyone has a different opinion on the game. The sport may or may not be taken away for safety issues. "The football deaths this year have involved a range of positions." The author means that it is not just the quarter back or wide receivers getting hurt, but anyone that is on the field. People may think that the special skills players are sustaining the injuries, when in fact any single player can be subject to injury. The author talks about "declining youth participation," which can be the result of parental influence or mainly the child not wanting to get hurt. Either way, there are less and less children playing the game of football, in part because risk of injury.

When an author writes an article they use items that help the reader understand their point. These definitions include exemplification, descriptions, process, and classification and division. Exemplification tells what something does or what it is meant for. Descriptions are verbal or visual and show what everything is about. Process helps people to know what is being done. Classification and division give priority and order to the items that the author is talking about.

In the article "As Worries Rise and Players Flee, a Missouri School Board Cuts Football" it is talking about how football may be to violent for kids to play. With the number rising in concussions and death in football related injuries, people are getting scared. Parents, youth, and administrators worry about the life long effects caused by football. With schools cutting out football, this takes away jobs for teachers, coaches, and refs as well as money that just funds the school in general. Thinking about it if you take high school football out of the mix, who goes on to play college football, or even professional. This economic gaze is very economic because it is like a chain reaction, that needs to be evaluated and confronted to keep people safe and with jobs.
